In essence, Jumpsend is an Amazon Deal Site and here’s a quick breakdown on how Amazon Deal sites work:
Amazon seller wants to increase their product rank.
Active shopper wants the best deal.
Amazon seller offers their product at a discount.
Active shopper is very happy with the deal and buys the product.
Amazon seller’s product receives a ranking bump on Amazon which makes them even more revenue in the long term (remember, the more visible your product is on Amazon, the better you sell).
There’s many Amazon deal sites out there doing this.
One of my favourites is Samurai Social.
Like Jumpsend, it allows you to increase the rank of your product on Amazon through deals.
The game-changing difference though is it doesn’t link you up with active shoppers to do this.
Oh no.
It takes things a step further by pairing you up with micro-influencers instead.
What the hell’s a micro-influencer!?
Simply put, they’re a person who has a sizeable, but not too large, social following – think 100k subscribers or less.
These people haven’t got the millions of followers of a Kardashian, sure, but their audience is big enough that you’d notice a difference in your product sales if you got in front of them.
The beauty of Samurai Social is it aggregates a list of these micro-influencers that you can reach out to.
So, you guessed it…
100,000 x 10 micro-influencers = 1 million eyeballs on your product!
It’s easy to reach out to these micro-influencers to get them to promote your product to give it the momentum you need at launch.
And what’s more, Samurai Social encourages their influencers to review your product.
And if you know anything about influencers, you know they’re EXCELELNT at making content and reviews.
So not only does your product get a boost on Amazon from the influencer, but you also get some great content from them that you can use in your marketing.
Pretty neat huh?
